Where are those shills who were trying to convince us not to vote for that "rino" Youngkin? I want to rub those shill noses in every Youngkin victory for us.
I’m not one of those shills but I can understand their hesitancy. How many times has Lucy pulled the football and Charlie Brown landed right in his ass. I feel that way when I think of Lindsey graham, Marco Rubio, and to some extent with General Flynn and that crew as well. We’ve been used and abused - it’s hard for some to trust.
Not when the alternative is handing Soros stooge McAuliffe another term, which is what not voting would have done. Not when most of those shills don't even live in this state. There are people here who stupidly and yes I mean stupidly think that not voting is what should be done without considering that only hands an election to the Dems without a fight. And that's how they learned it was easy to cheat, because of the huge numbers of people who never bothered to vote year after year. Used an abused is no excuse because voting and keeping our governments out of the hands of people who don't believe in liberty is not just our right it is and always has been our duty. Even when it's hard. Even when somebody might try to cheat. So, no, I don't understand and never will.
One can still vote and not be surprised when their vote is stolen from them anymore.
One can also choose to sit on their ass bloviating about it or get offended and do something about it.
Exactly! I've said if the ones bloviating aren't shills, they're the same people who always blathered on about their political opinions while bragging they never voted because all politicians are the same. They have no intention of getting off their asses and doing something about it. BTW, I have asked every one of them to enlighten us with what they are doing right now to fix 2020. Not one ever answered.
Someone has a word-of-the-day calendar.
some very good point that I did not think of - Thank you for the conversation! :)
Thanks for taking it as it was intended, Ssue.
So far he's keeping his campaign promises......
Youngkin was co-CEO of the Carlyle Group, which has Bush-Cheney ties. Since, humans are more or less linear in the formation of judgment, it is not difficult to understand why many people were, and still are, skeptical about Governor Youngkin.
I'm pleasantly content with what I am seeing from Youngkin. Consider the following though: if Youngkin's State Attorney General, Jason Miyares' wasn't so tightly allied with the Governor, would we still be seeing these results?
I really believe the State Attorney General Jason Miyares needs to be credited for adding teeth to Youngkin's EOs. Time will tell us how well violators of Youngkin's EOs are being held accountable for their disobeying the Governor's orders.
Yet again ignoring the fact that the alternative was another term for that sewer rat McAuliffe. So, no, it's not "natural." Yeah, I had some concerns about Youngkin too but there is no way I was going to not vote. BTW, did you attend the convention? Work at any polling location as a poll watcher?
So it seems by your word usage your own "concerns" would put you in league with "shills". Do you see the paradox here. My point is there's nothing wrong with skepticism, especially in regards with a politician having ties to Neocons. I don't know if Youngkin qualifies as a "RHINO", but I do believe the vetting process for candidates like him has to improve. VA might have gotten 'lucky' here. We can't afford to have fortune and luck to defeat Marxism in government and return us to our Constitutional republic. So far Youngkin is doing a surprisingly good job.
Again, I believe State AG Miyares 'might' have something more to Youngkin's successes than meets the eye. When a governor has the AG's back, that tends to be a powerful force for change.
As far as VA is concerned, I'm not a resident there. I once lived there a long time ago in that certain SE corner of the State along Atlantic and Pacific Avenues. I do really congratulate and commend the grassroots effort there in VA and believe it is a model for patriot republicans in other states to follow.
My word usage? LOL No, my slight concerns have absolutely nothing to do with what the shills were doing. Like the others trying to tell us what we should do, you don't live here but you can tell us all about what we should do? What state are you in? Me and a few other Virginians want to make sure we tell you who you should vote for, whether you should vote at all.
And so far I'm 100% on the people with the most opinions on Virginia elections having done nothing to work on those elections. That's the real paradox here.
BTW, a rhino is an animal with a large horn. A rino is a Republican in name only.
