Local Windsor media...

According to Windsor police, officers have been in the area of Huron Church Road near the Ambassador Bridge since Monday morning, as a procession of truckers arrived to begin a protest against vaccine mandates.

The protest traffic backed up traffic on Huron Church Road on Monday. Shortly after 8 p.m., Essex County OPP announced that the bridge is no longer accessible. Just after 10:30 p.m. the bridge was declared closed.
