Ordered 2 silver coins (market price) and 2 coin holders ($1.09) last night 9pm.
Screen kept flipping btwn "cart" and "continue", but i eventually was able to pay.
JMBullion strongly suggested using UPS, as USPS not reliable...$16 extra. So i took their advise and bit the bullet on the shipping.
Unaware to me during the screen filpping, the coins disappeared from the cart.
After paying I noticed the total was different/less.
Immediately sent emails stating my error and asking for a reversal so i could order correctly.
Spoke w cust service this a.m...
Her:.sorry. cant reverse as it has a tracking number.
Me: has the item been picked yet?
Her: No.
Me: just hit cancel !
Her: it'll cost $25 more if i do.
Me: a few more words of dismay and disappointment and click.
Emailed them again and they basically responded with a " too bad, so sad" attitude and added a "you've already been told..." scolding.
So very disappointed as i was a repeat customer.
I admitted my error; greed is ugly. They basically stole from me and and are unyielding. Screw them.
Anyone want to pay 20 bucks for a $1 item?
My new M.O.
The place I buy always gives my an armed escort out to my car. They are big guys , too. They stay with me till I get my car started and rolling.
I use silvertowne.com Great folks, I have never had an issue.
My favourite piece of silver is a 5 oz Silvertowne bar with a big old tarnish spot on the bottom where the plastic case ripped. I find it hard to find 5 oz bars and i love their logo.
I also have a Silvertowne round and its has a very cool design as well. Silvertowne is a great mint!
Hey! I have a 5oz Silvertowne bar on my desk this very moment! It's the piece I fondle while I'm deep in thought :)
Thats awesome! Its a great piece. The Navajo believe that silver is the metal of the next world and if you have it you know where youre going. Did you take yours our of the plastic? I want to, I dont even ever imagine selling my silver but for some reason I keep it in the plastic lol
Thank you!
This is simple. Do a chargeback. You've tried in good faith to fix the situation, and they refuse to be accommodating. Fuck 'em.
Hell yes.
I ordered a 100 ounce bar, mailed in a check, then got a call and they said they didn't have any. I asked for a paper check mailed back, they refunded my bank account to an account I was closing and they made a big mess for me. I'll think twice about ordering from them again.
I was not able to meet the ups guy and my silver was returned to JM they re-shipped it with the post office no charge.
Never had any problems with JMB over many years of purchases. Excellent and reliable service. I guess shit happens...gotta pay attention.
And they should be more flexible, especially on what turned out to be a zero precious metal order...
Going to your local store(s) you get to spread around your buying do no one has a good idea of your stacking. I have 3 in my area i regular and several I pop into once in a while.
Good idea, fren.
I purchased a $1,000 bag of silver coins from JM bullion. It was advertised as a mixed bag of silver half dollars, quarters, and dimes. The bag consisted of 9,999 Roosevelt dimes and one Mercury dime.
My advice would be to stay away from JM bullion.
Im sorry to hear this. You should try your local silver store, not sure what its like in the US but here everything is cheaper in person. I spent $17 less on a 10 oz bar last week at the coin store then I would have online, and thats paying with a bill payment online, and Id have to pay shippong on top of it.
You get the silver in your hands, you can pay cash, no shipping, you support a local buisness, and there's a chance they will get tarnished silver for cheaper, or rare coins you might like, or even junk silver for cheap. You can also get lucky, like when I got the Phil Harmonic the silver store thought it was a round so it had a much cheaper premium then a minted coin, let alone one from across the Earth. Thats probably my most valuable piece and its because of a mess up thatll never happen online. Only downside is there isnt isually any difference between new vs old like you get online.
Great idea! Duh on me!
I know just where to go in my town!
I ordered last night -- didn't take their double the price shipping. I'm in no hurry and they don't get delivered, it's on them.
The timer had 8 + minutes remaining!
Me, too on the service, that's why i was so taken aback.
Thanks
