Hey guys I posted the other day about my dad being extremely sick. We are still in the hospital and I’ve been able to be with his this entire time as he was testing negative. They have tested him FOUR times. Only tested for the flu once. Why are they testing so much? To get what they want?? Well today, they got what they wanted and it came back positive. Up until this point they have been treating him for bacterial infection and have said he’s improving. I asked if their new “treatment plan” included remdisivir and they said yes. I immediately told them absolutely not, we are declining treatment. They are giving steroids but I’m freaking out. If I leave this room, I am not allowed to come back now thought I’ve been allowed to come and go freely for 4 days.
HELP. I don’t know what to do. Do I take him out of here?? He’s still receiving antibiotics which have helped and he needs but I am NOT playing these Covid games. If a patient tests negative 3 times, (4 if you count the missing test) WHY ARE YOU STILL TESTING???? What do I do?? He needs oxygen and antibiotics.
Sidenote: Steroid given was decadron. Any info on this would be good too
I’m glad you brought this up bc this is the latest issue. They have had him use a nebulizer since he was admitted. Now all of the sudden since he is “positive” they will no longer allow him to use a nebulizer. Only an inhaler because a nebulizer “puts Covid in the air”. We are in a room with a vent system through the freaking window and they won’t treat him. What the actual fuck.
Have them put him in a negative pressure room and he can get nebs in that said room. There is also a special filter the hospital has to administer Neb treatments in a standard hospital room.
^^ this ^^… that special filter is called a ‘viral filtration filter’ that they put onto the nebulizer and it can be used in a standard room.
Thank you!
I authored that post. I also did an earlier one about archiving, because after the treatment saved my life, the doctor who recommended it along with a bunch of testimonial videos from his grateful patients, got a cease and desist letter and the info was scrubbed off the internet. The resources listed on that page are the only ones I know about, when previously I had a few dozen to refer people to. The stuff works, and it's dirt cheap even compared to a serving of jello and a napkin from the hospital. I didn't have pneumonia, but I had very bad covid, and it brought me back.
I also have a cousin who took his wife to the hospital with covid and trouble breathing. She was there about 7 days without a visit allowed from her husband or kids. She made it out alive, even with remdesivir, but she didn't enjoy the experience at all, and witnessed a number of people in the same ward who left, but to the morgue instead of going back home. I don't know what to tell you other than his chances are probably better off at home. I know that if I expected to die, it'd be more pleasant at home than in an iso ward. Obviously your situation is unique, you know your dad better than anyone here, and you're there. Pray, and do all you can. I'll send my prayers your way, too.
Thank you for this. I’m calling his primary physician first thing tomorrow morning to have him review and potentially prescribe medication for home treatment. He’s been a good doc so far through all of “Covid” for his patient so I’m counting on him to come through for my dad.
Went through the same when my husband was in the hospital. They would not give him the nebulizer for the same reason. We both had "moronic", he tested positive, I didn't test. He was not in for covid but for some weird stuff that showed up in his blood work earlier that day and they thought his gallbladder was inflamed. The attending physician for that floor never once saw him.
It BLEW my mind when they started to refuse the nebulizer AFTER testing positive. If Covid is so serious, why are you declining breathing treatments?? I was told it puts “Covid in the air”. If he’s positive, it’s already in the air.
If you nebulize with Albuterol (which is typical).... it doesn't do a thing for Covid.
The hydrogen peroxide & saline solution works well, in my opinion.
Thanks!
