yea her dad was an earl I believe...I dont think she had a choice either but from her point of view...not even twenty and you get to live out the princess fantasy....marry and be queen of england...im not sure how many 18 years olds would be like...naaah.... Of course she would learn later the ugly truth.....that she was just a breeding cow...

I don’t think he had a choice. He didn’t want to marry & not Diana. Those people have always made the kids marry & picked the people they married. I’m not an expert. Just my opinion from watching documentaries over the years.
