What is sad is that there are a lot of boot lickers that seem to worship police. Police have a choice in everything they do and the old over used excuse people give for the police is they're just following orders. If you worked on a job and your boss told you to beat the shit out of someone for no good reason, would you? The normal person would refuse and either quit or be fired but ultimately would maintain their dignity and morals.
Police choose to do the endless horrible things that they do. They are not forced to because there is no punishment for quitting a law enforcement job. The only career with possibly punishment is military where you literally become government property. The governments here in the USA and around the world are always the root of all the problems but everyone that choose to obey orders contribute to those problems.
Without military wrongfully invading other countries, we would have far more peace worldwide than we currently do. If police upheld their oath to protect and serve the people then government wouldn't have henchmen to do their dirty work and bully people around. It's a bad thing when most people are on edge anytime near a police officer because people just don't know what the cop will do.
There are good cops as in all professions and aspects of life, there are good people but there is very good reason why a large portion of the population has negative opinions of police. There's good reason people call them pigs and make bacon jokes. Most people just want to be left alone and police too often are on a power trip and want to fuck with people simply because they can.
If someone objects then they might be arrested, if it's a bad cop then they might get beat up, shot, or even killed. People should be able to have trust in police in the sense that we shouldn't have to be concerned if a cop is going to fuck with us or try to find a reason to arrest us even when we are doing nothing wrong. People should be able to mingle with police just like we all do with any other random person in town.
I live in Florida, probably a pretty police friendly state but even here I never see police acting normal. It's common to get into random conversations with random people while in town, in stores, flea markets, parks, beaches, especially bars, but it's almost unheard of for people to strike up those little random conversations with police.
Police don't bother me but I speak more so on behalf of people that do face some sort of abuse or intimidation from police. The last traffic ticket I had was literally 20 years ago in 2002. Police are not the worth offenders though, not at all. Police are more like useful thugs with badges. The worst offenders naturally are the ones most people never see nor hear about. You know, those piece of garbage creatures hiding in the shadows that control the bought and paid for politicians.
I believe police officers should have the opportunity to make things right but most politicians are guilty of such fucked up crimes against humanity that most of them deserve nothing but life in prison or a death sentence. I believe if police were free to decide for themselves what to do that the good cops in the bunch would allow the bad ones to be redeemed or ousted. The long standing bullshit of cops protecting each other from punishment of crimes they are guilty of has to stop though.
Those were paid protests with bad agendas but since they used a common theme that many people would attach to as in demanding police reform, they were able to get extra protesters to tag along with the paid protesters. If it would have been an organic legitimate protest then it may have served a purpose but BLM just used that theme as an excuse to riot, burn, loot, murder, etc.
It was just a theme that they could easily get people to join. The protesters that joined in were actually protesting legitimately but then portions of BLM that were paid to protest along with antifa used a lot of innocent people to take part in those protests to attempt to cover up the actual agenda and it worked for those people here refer to as normies.
We do not need police but if trained properly and better screened before being hired, police could do a lot of good for communities. Unfortunately police have been merely a tool of government to abuse power. That job of being a cop comes with a lot of responsibility which many cops don't seem to give a shit about.

Suddenly those BLM protests against police violence and excessive force make a lot more sense.....
