I was having a difficult first pregnancy many years ago. The doctor wanted to do an amniocentesis to determine if my baby had Down Syndrome since I was in my mid-thirties, but in excellent health.
I remember saying to my husband that I didn't want them puncturing my placenta with that long needle and contaminating the sterile container that housed my baby. We also agreed that even if they 'found something wrong', neither of us would choose to abort. The child was born healthy and by good fortune and hard work he is an extremely accomplished young man with a high IQ, quite good-looking and is an absolute joy in our lives. I can only imagine the loss we would have felt if they'd talked us into aborting him.
Please consider delaying infant vaccines. I believe that they are the causative factor of autism. To many vaccines are given to underdeveloped immune systems. Do not consent to the hepatitis vaccine in the hospital. Ask for oral vitamin k as opposed to the injection. Delay all vaccine until school age, if even then. Research. I believe life long problems such as asthma, allergies, ADD, autism occur as a result of all the combination of vaccines, including SIDS.
Two of my three babies had that in their ultrasounds as well! The cysts resolved on their own and they were born with no issues and are perfectly healthy young children now. If your baby has the choriod plexus cysts, 90% of the time it resolves on it's own.
50 plus years ago a family member had a uterine tumor. It grew faster than the baby and surgery was a must. The baby is now a doctor. The baby survived surgery and thrived.
Same thing happened to my daughter many years ago. Doctor wanted to do the amnio test and she refused. She wanted her baby in spite of any ill health. Her husband did not want a defective son (his words). She kept the baby and dumped the husband. She made the right choice. Today we have a healthy 19 year old young man who is the perfect grandson and son. He's smart, happy and generally a really good person who is liked by everyone. I am so proud of him.
