HIPPA does not apply to employee situations. HIPPA involves protection of patient information in health care settings. However, there are regulations that are supposed to protect employee health information - especially vaxxine information. If I remember correctly, it is under OSHA. Employee medical records ARE NOT to be kept in an employee's normal file. Those records are to be kept in another file that is secure and not accessible but to only one or two people. This HR dept is in big trouble should the employees push this issue. They should file a complaint with OSHA.

I hope the impacted people understand that their lawyer needs to say that in this climate, this information being public will permanently impact their ability to find employment for the rest of their life.
