They won't stop coming after you if you give up and go home, and their outrages against the people, especially against you and your families personally, will become much worse because their power will be confirmed to them, and they will feel justified to use it. The only way now is complete victory. They must completely capitulate before you step away, or all you have done will have been for absolutely nothing.
