Stock up, frens. Have at MINIMUM enough food, provisions, and meds to comfortably ride out a month of supply interruption (2 months if you really stretch). Make sure your gas tanks are full as well (in case you need to flee authoritarian response).
Be smart and do not let yourself get caught in short supply and unable to move around.
If you actually need that much food, there will be way bigger problems before you're done with the first month's food ration. People who didn't plan ahead will be going bat shit fucking crazy after their first skipped meal.
I had to stop buying the everyday stuff because I was running out of space and it wasn't getting rotation because I was losing track. So I figure have about a month or so if I stretch it and then I stocked up on some MREs which would probably go another 4-6 weeks.
A month is good for food. But it's always good to have extra dry/canned foods/MREs to go another couple of months if needed. Water is vital, but if you don't want to stock up on this, you can still use life straws or get regular bleach. A standard bottle of bleach can disinfect 10s of thousands of gallons of water if not much much more. It's very important to use the correct ratio because drops will go a LONG ways. They have many charts available online to do the proper mixture ratio.
Just don't overbuy and waste items that will go bad before you get a chance to consume it.
I have two upright freezers full of meat and veggies, a 12 foot x 3 foot shelf of home canned fruits and veggies, paper products in case they shut off the power, 4 doz frozen eggs, 25 lbs of rice, beans, sugar and flour, 5 lbs of salt and oatmeal, drinking water stored and a source for same. Some medical supplies and weapons. I'm working on getting a wood stove installed and getting garden seeds/plants ready. We have the ability to cook outside if the wood stove doesn't make it in time. I had 55 gallon barrels of gas and diesel fuel but that was this summer somniw will be used to lite fires if needed to cook outside. Kind of worried about the ability to do laundry if the power goes off for very long but a little dirt never hurt anyone i guess. Everyday I think of more. Husband just got diagnosed with cancer so I'm really scared about the medical situation. I just want this over!

Look up DCA (DiCloroAcetic Acid) or what Roger Stone used for his (I think his wife had it)
So sorry for his diagnosis. My husband had cancer surgery and is 100% now. I hope you get the same result.
