I wound up on imgur for some reason and ran across this post while I was poking around. Courtesy of user Beergasm.
"A sacrifice to the abyss of Usersub.
Today was my last day of Grand Jury duty. For those that don't know, in GJD, we look at several cases a day, getting testimony from witnesses, victims, and police, about a crime committed. Our job as a group of 7, is to determine if the evidence provided aligns with the charges proposed. 5 out of 7 means we sign the indictment, and it goes forward to a court case.
In the past two weeks, I have heard testimony of a dozen children that were raped, sometimes "willingly" (There is no consent under 18 legally), several spouses being raped and beaten, kids being beaten within an inch of their lives, women and men being sold as property, people hurting each other in ways I wish I couldn't imagine...
I'm in shock. I'm disgusted, and my heart is broken at hearing / seeing some of the things I've had to see these past two weeks. I know that we as humans are already kinda a lost cause, but the levels of depravity, the depths of horror that I've seen in just two weeks...
Some advice from these past couple weeks;
Hug those you love tightly. Tell them you love them. Listen to their issues and be with them. Give your animals an extra treat. Let your kids know that it's NEVER ok to be touched like "that". What he/she did was probably assault before you thought it was. Let your wife, husband, bf, gf, sister, brother, etc, know that they can come to you with anything.
I know the impact these things we witnessed pale in comparison to the impact they have on the victims and their loved ones. I'll never pretend that we're worse off than them. At least my signature will start the process of putting that POS where they belong.
To those that testify against those who hurt them; I envy your strength and conviction. I've seen your tears and anguish as you speak horrible truths against someone you love / loved. I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for you, and the fact that you're able to speak up after what you've been through is amazing.
TL;DR - Grand Jury Duty sucks, and bless those that go through it, be they a witness, victim, or juror."
Things ARE happening. The storm is building exponentially. May we all say a prayer for everyone involved.
UPDATED: "Edit - This post got biiiiig. Ok, couple things;
I'm seeking therapy, promise. No, my state doesn't offer therapy or anything to us after the fact. I got paid $95 for those 2 weeks, while missing out on $2,500+ in wages. All but one case was VERY obviously guilty, often with confession or video evidence. No, the kids were not lying; evidence of physical trauma, pregnancy, and defendants having a history of abusive behaviors make that VERY obvious. I was the "Foreperson", so it was my job to record (digitally) all testimony, swear in everyone giving testimony, and sign indictments after we deliberate and vote; so it's my signature helping send some of these bastards to trial, and that feels good. It's not all negative, as I learned a TON about the legal process, and I learned that a state legal code book is formatted exactly the same as the NEC 70 code book (Electrician code book), so I was able to quickly read up on the legal definition, and verify that the charges were 100% correct, even correcting a DAs mistake in one case.
My faith in humanity has never been super high, but this kinda took a flamethrower to it, then pissed on the charred remains. Hopefully I'll find a therapist soon, hopefully the nightmares will stop, and I sure as hell hope I see some good in people soon."
Yes, I have served on a Grand Jury.
Are they all of this magnitude?
I served in the mid 90s, for a month. We had one child sexual assault. A little Mexican girl child. It was heartbreaking. The pay was not that good, but I am glad I served.
PACER sealed indictments..
A discussion that happened here I think a couple months back following a similar article bought up trying to account for the massive supposed numbers of unemployed people - as in, where are they, how can they pay their bills and so on.
A prevailing theory as to this is that literally hundreds of thousands of people (perhaps even millions) are engaged like the originator of this post, serving in grand juries for the child abuse activities. Which are secret by their nature and will also be paid duties. So this theory ticks off a couple of those boxes of things that are inexplicable to more conventional accounting.
All under John Durham more likely than not.. a very busy boy.
I've never served on a Grand Jury, but I was foreman on a civil jury a few years ago for 3 or 4 days. Was paid something like $4/day IIRC far less than what parking cost me.
The pay is not enough to do anything with, and you would have heard of many more people leaking out this sort of thing.
I was summoned to a Grand Jury but never made it on. But no one at all that I know has any time recently. 2 regular jury duty summons I know of, but nothing serious
I served on a Grand Jury once. The DA charged an uncle with raping his nephew. Kid told his mother who did nothing. Child finally told a stranger at Wal Mart. Mother was not charged. I chewed the DA out. The child was in protective custody but the mother could easily get him back and not protect or believe him again.
That is... ridiculously disgusting and tragic. And all too common.
You chewed the DA out? Did they or the "judge" charge with a million things, including "contempt of court?"
Wow, did you land a case. I can't even imagine how hard that was. You state "In the past two weeks, I have heard testimony of a dozen children that were raped, sometimes willingly." Am I reading that wrong, they were willingly raped?
This isn't me, it's a testimony I found on imgur. A "willing" rape would be statutory rape. Legal consent can't be given underage.
Until they change that law. Ruth Badger Ginsberg wanted the age of consent to be lowered to 12. But why stop at 12? What not make it 5? Why have an age of consent at all? Little by little they move the Overton window until what used to be unthinkable is not only accepted, but becomes illegal to criticize.
Boy I guess I need to wake up a little more. I totally misread that. I apologize.
Lol. Thanks for the small bit of humor today. :)
Humans are not a lost cause. Some humans are plain evil by nature, others by nurture.
Most people are good.
There's also an update to the post. Interesting to read
Oh, thanks for the update. I can't wait for this nightmare to be over...
Same here. Thanks for pointing out this post
Everyone will be called. Everyone will see. Those who see will not sleep. Those who see will not forgive. NCSWIC.
Wow. Thanks for sharing that, it’s nice to see they are arresting and charging these people.
What about the NDA?
No specifics where given, this violates nothing.
I've wondered that myself. Could very well be a hoax, but given all of the circumstances maybe they were just ignorant.
Big mistake going to a therapist. Even if they legitimately want to help, which I am highly dubious of, they rarely do help, even a little.
Wish we knew where this GJ was. This could be a normal day in say NYC, Miami or LA. Takes a lot of faith on our part to conclude this persons experiences relate to anything big happening.
That said, I am confident that there are big things happening behind the scenes in the sexual abuse/ child trafficking sphere and in more mundane conspiracy and treason cases. Im just skeptical this persons experiences point in that direction.
