I am an RN in the hospital he is in. The hospital is still “Red” code, meaning family can’t see them. I am going to just walk in like I own the place in my surgical scrubs and hold his hand. He isn’t dying of “covid”. He had infected teeth that have caused his sepsis. I could get fired if I’m caught, but he is a brother of a good friend. I will hold the line and give him some comfort.

I just took my triple vaxxed sister to the hospital for sepsis which caused diarrhea and led to kidney failure. She’s recovering because of antibiotics & fluid replacement. She’s the third person in my family to get this. All vaxxed. I’ll pray for him & you. I hope he survives. Everyone should be aware this is hitting the vaxxed hard.
I’m so sorry to hear this about your sister. It just is so wrong - all of it! Not being able to be an advocate for your own family member, not getting the best care because of hospital protocol, and being shut up in a room where the only contact you get from a human is through an isolation protocol. I want to be a good nurse, and I think I am - but it is sad we have to go behind the scenes to do good nursing care :-/

Yes, you can get vet sterile solution and just mix in water bottle...I've helped a dozen people get their loved ones home by sneaking patient a magical water bottle
I was thinking more of using the paste on a swab to run around his mouth, but t might be easier to dissolve a pill in some water. Thanks for the idea.

Is there Remdesivir on his chart?
I can’t open his chart since I am not on his care team. But I can assure you that is the “protocol” at my hospital. If he didn’t need to have his two infected teeth surgically removed today his sister would have yanked him out of there by now.
Make sure his family tells the drs NO REMDESIVIR. The hospital gave it to my father without our knowledge and he soon went downhill.
What makes me so mad is the fact I watched an X22 Report I think on Thursday or Friday of this past week and he said that Covid proved nothing more than a "BAD COLD."
Well I would love to tell him something as he probably never caught it. I have never been put out with a "Bad Cold" for 2 weeks nor has my husband who had it for 5 weeks and it enlarged his compromised liver where I had to have him hospitalized. Covid may be an extreme case of the Flu of some type; but not a Cold.
I have never heard of a "Bad Cold" being cured and treated with Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine. After hearing his report that I had faith and trusted in immensely, I now have lost my faith or WANT to ever listen to again. To me, that is considered misinformation. Where he got it from, he should have fact checked and researched.
I pray for your friends brother as I know firsthand that this is not something to mess with. It is less likely to kill him as these variants weaken to a lesser form' so I've been told. I am so thankful that I and my husband did not get one of the first Covid's.
