I am an Apple user but I can't argue with your comment. The only thing I like and prefer about Apple is that their platform is much more stable than the Microsoft BS that is out there.
I use a very old version of Windows with updates turned off and never have any stability problems. It's the suckers who have automatic updates (think Orwellian- downgrades) who suffer instability and are victims of planned obsolescence.
Next month doesn't necessarily mean another month. It could be as soon as within 8 days. They may have struck a deal with apple to boost the use of their products or maybe they figured apple products were the "safest" for things like ddos attacks. Get some things out there but keep attacks down. Let the news write about how truth launched and not have all the launch articles be about how the platform is down? Just spit-balling.
I'm no fan of apple, but programming apps for iphones is much easier than for Androids. A dozen or so models compared to hundreds of possible configurations... And while typically apps run smoothly on either platform, I would imagine the image of being super bug-free is important for a new thing like this
Probably because Apple software is locked down tighter than a pigs butt hole and the company is controlled primarily by American interests. Android is more loosey-goosey, has more security vulnerabilities, and China has a huge presence in the market. Launching on iPhone may have streamlined the security burden; providing the most full-proof platform to resist deep state shenanigans.
Remember when Trump wanted to back door an iPhone and Apple told him to go jump? Maybe that was a test? (I have no idea how that story ended, maybe Apple caved).

Not really. Android users can de-google their phones, install different OS, etc. Apple users cannot bypass their overlord's child-safety locks.

I haven't had an iphone since like 2009. Back in the day you could jailbreak them and side load whatever you wanted. Is that not still possible?
