Is canada an actual, literal dictatorship?
WTAF form of "government" do they have to be able to enact laws / rules like this so quickly?
Was this proposed as a bill, then voted on, etc. etc??
Or is their system of govt nothing like the USA?
How do they ram this shit thru so quickly?
Government invoked the act in the same way that someone might declare bankruptcy by yelling out the window "I declare bankruptcy!".
The debate was to happen on Friday but was cancelled because the act itself was in effect and police action was to take place. There is to be a vote on the act this afternoon and it's unclear if it will pass, but what is perfectly clear is that a bunch of damage is already done and the deputy Prime Minister is making the financial tools the act allows for to become permanent. Canada is FUBAR.
Epic reference!!
And yes indeed; canada's govt seems almost WORSE than the US!!!
I doubt it’s lawful, just like Biden’s mandates
Ahhhh........k....
I have NO idea why I'd expect ANY other government to be ANY LESS corrupt than ours....
So basically; (as another poster said - GREAT reference!!!) the candadian gov. "declared emergency powers" and just hoped people would obey & listen, like they have with most other shit the past 2+ years, right?
Awesome.....
😐😑😐🤬🤬
Apparently no to being enacted, I was watching or reading and they haven't passed anything yet, said it needed to go through 2 more houses of parliament. I'm not Canadian so I don't know, just passing that info along.
Thank You fren!!
In was enacted then brought before Parliament and then Parliament suspended discussion because the topic is too sensitive and dangerous. Dont think its supposed to work this way.
