I'm tryin' real hard to understand the "racism" connoted by Pepe. I mean, they make up racism all the time, but there is usually some justification, even if it's easy to see through.
But how is the frog racist? What race is it "against?" It's not easy being green? Is Pepe anti (or pro?) Green? Is Pepe a Green Supremacist?

pepe is an extremely popular image among the "alt right"
"alt right" = "racist"
therefore
pepe = "racist"
this logic is more than good enough justification for the sleepy.
As someone aware of how the term came to be, I found it redundant and it shows a popular misconception about what right wing is. If right wing is ancap then left wing is command economy dictatorship. They wanted to distance themselves from the self proclaimed right wing which was just authoritarian neocons and actually leftists calling themselves right. The actual racists then hijacked it like every movement in history got hijacked. Then the media ran with it gaslighting it to oblivion until the original founders of the term dropped it.
