So many things wrong with that pic. AR with a red dot lol. Old man with store bought tactical gear lol. Doesnt even know how to hold the weapon properly lol.
This is some old guy, probably here in the US, larping like a warrior. Probably some survivalist camp. Photoshop a Ukrainian flag and you have a pulitzer prize winning photo there Time.
Media has to keep pushing that "AR's are weapons of War" trope to the dumbasses who believe it.
I'm 24yrs retired Mil, spent 6 years of that in SpecOps, and I'm here to tell you that nothing in this photo makes sense from a military standpoint. 100% staged from other dumbasses who know nothing of Military gear or weaponry.
I don't think there is a mag in it either. When did UKR switch over to .223? LOL.
Right. Even with armor piercing rounds it wont pierce Military gear. It will his though hahahaha. You have to hit a deer perfectly with 223 to take it down. And even then it will run half the day. Fun guns though to play with when the family is up north. The wife and kids love shooting it because it has zero kick and barely weighs 7 pounds and the red dot scope is cool.
BTW my 6 year old grandson handles his AR better than this old dude.
All the footage I see of guys on the street in Kyiv they are all holding AKs. I have yet to see anyone holding an AR in any footage that looks like its actually in Ukraine.
Someone should do an image search. I bet youll find it in some survival mag.
