I remember that. Stupidist shit EVER! I was making fun of the teacher about the level or lunacy that 'protective measure' was even way back then.

It's the same advice they give for being in an earthquake. A desk will protect you from structure crashing down on you. Hasn't gone out of style. Unless you are a doomer who prefers to have no means of survival.
