YES - the LION and the lamb

There's a hymn called "Peace in the Valley" written by Thomas A. Dorsey in 1938.

Elvis made the hymn famous when he sung it on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1957 in support of Hungarian refugees.

In any case, the lyrics contain the verse "And the lion shall lay down by the lamb."

Now read the whole verse in Isaiah. As you can see, the lion and wolf are both present.

Isaiah 11:6-7

6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

Martin Luther used the phrase in a Nobel Prize acceptance speech -

And the lion and the lamb shall lie down together and every man shall sit under his own vine and fig tree and none shall be afraid.

I too remember people saying "lion shall lay down with the lamb" but I didn't read the Bible much before 2007.

Many pastors used this book as a resource to write their sermons, as Gill was a contemporary of Charles Spurgeon.

For this particular example, I can see why people would think this could be an example of the Mandela Effect but not sure on this one.

So I don't remember when I first heard of the ME but it's been within the last couple years. As with everything else I've come across, I searched, watched that movie that's pretty much unrelated, and made a connection to CERN's LHC. Which after looking further found I wasn't the only one.

But the LHC first came online 2008 which is when the ME was noted to have started. Then it was shut down for 14 months due to a magnet issue and it's "first run" to have been 2010 - 2013.

Any who, I'd never made the connection until seeing your post but I may have a direct experience, albeit more of a physiological change, or paradigm shift. Granted it could have been organic in it's development over the previous years and be coincidental it took a turn for the worse in the 10 - 13 time frame. But looking back, no other real cause that comes to mind.

So if the ME is an actual thing, or LHC fuckery, then certainly it's possible it manifests differently. I don't know, but it popped to mind last night going to bed and was just checking time frames and it "adds up".

So this change I'm referring to is drinking. I'd always been a drinker but not always drinking, I'd go stretches with no drinking, but also stretches with plenty of drinking, but always with friends and was fairly social. So sometime in that 10 - 13 timeframe, don't recall when but in the latter of the spread, I started drinking constantly, by myself, on the job, driving to/from work, home, started isolating, lost my job due to "position elimination" but suspected it was a nice way for drinking at work. This went on for several years, went off to a rehab and still struggle occasionally but more than not am staying sober.

So not to sound like I'm blaming my alcoholism on ME, but I'd been a drinker up till then, and life was pretty good, was the best job I'd ever had, making good money, just bought a TJ Rubicon. I've never been a status quo, typical guy so there have been a couple other theories I've chalked this off too, including the fact I'm just an alcoholic lol But I did start feeling different in that time as well.
