Besides i thought it might have meant the quality of the site was sub par. Im not on it yet
The fact you aren't on the site yet means it is sub par and the quality isn't there. Having to be on a list and wait might seem exclusive or something but it really means they aren't ready for prime time.
I do that kind of stuff for a living. Large multi-user sites and what it takes to make them run.
Do your sites get constantly flooded with millions of bots/fake users in the first month of their launch? I know nothing of this subject at all so in your mind is what they are probably dealing with easier than they are making it out to be?
No our sites do not get hit with millions of bots. But there are large amounts of users. I suspect with this site they went live to help find the bugs and get a sense of how much hardware they would need to ramp up to full operation. In doing so they were probably a bit overwhelmed and it was more than they expected.
It's a balance. Throw hardware at bad code (happens way more than people realize) or spend the time to develop good code. The latter takes time and skill that may or may not be available to them.
Yet you will join it eventually. All your undereducated opinions should be kept in your own brain. Unless of course you say it right now you will never join truth social. Of course you won’t.
