I need all the peer reviewed studies that show that Ivermectin has been effective. I've seen you guys drop like 50 links to different studies at a time. That would be really helpful right now. Hydroxychloroquine too. If my wife wants data, I'll give her data. But I need your help.
*Edit - here is a link to the study she sent me that she thinks is now definitive proof it doesn't work. What do you spot wrong with this study? Thanks in advance. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04920942
**Edit - Thanks to everyone. Great stuff. Such a great community.
If it's coming down to an ultimatum, perhaps divorce isn't the worst option.
What is the debate anyway? You're asking for information but how is the information going to be used?
Here's something for you :
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/articles/PMC8248252/
The debate goes much deeper than Covid and Ivermectin. It's my world view itself. She's wildly uncomfortable with the idea that we can't trust our media. She thinks I'm a conspiracy theorist and it's embarrassing her. It's an extremely uncomfortable position to find myself in after she followed me willingly out of Mormonism after sitting down and looking at the information I had. But she hasn't wanted to look at my information on this. It's like we climbed out of one of Plato's cave right into another one and now she's surprised I kept climbing. If the Covid/Ivermectin thing can be proven to her satisfaction, that's just one chink in the "the news tells me the truth" armor that I feel I can work in. She's agreed to look, and that's all I can ask for. Do I think she will? I don't know. But if she's swayed by one article/study with 500 participants, wait until she sees the mountain of studies I have here. Fingers crossed.
Sounds like you two have been through quite the journey already.... if possible go gentle / easy on her.
I find the best way to change someone's mind is to ask them questions.... they will begin to question things themselves if you are successful. Bombarding people with information doesn't tend to work well in my opinion. Now that said it's your wife, you know her best, so...
E.g. Why would the media call Ivermectin horse dewormer if it's been used in humans since it was discovered in the 70s and won a Nobel prize for its use in humans in 2015?
Or
Why hasn't the overall all cause mortality shown a spike with covid?
Or
Why was the PCR test chosen as the gold standard for testing, when its inventor Kerry Mulis, says its being used inappropriately, and the test cannot differentiate between strains, or even between covid and flu?
I get how hard data can be convincing, but sometimes simple logic can do it too.
Just my 2 cents...
The Socratic method works best on women
Take her through the steps of investigation.
Prove one point and then both think about what the next logical step in the research would be.
Them progress onto the next stage in the same way we do research.
So ivermectin is safe to use for humans, so we need to see if there has been studies proving it is effective against covid, find the studies and results, then have look at the doctor's that prescribe ivermectin to patients and the results they have found etc
Do the scientific method with her each step to help her start using her brain that way.
Then she will be doing it on her own and the whole scam will be glaringly obvious to her.
The media would never lie to us.

Never.

They all want what is best for us. It's like, they're using the same script.

Haha did you see the post I literally just did today on Joseph Smith and Freemasonry?
