I used to believe this but after the past 30 years I see now that we are one of the most corrupt countries in the world. We meddle in foreign elections and overthrow governments then raise holy hell when a handful of Russians take out Facebook ads to influence our elections. We cheat in our elections, then refuse to look at the evidence so we can say there is no evidence but we have congressional investigation into whether a football had air let out if it. We start or instigate war after war to keep the military industrial complex machine running smooth. There is no end to the corruption from Wall Street to Pennsylvania Avenue.
The people that want to destroy us are the people who are in our government. You should love your country and hate your government. When they convince you that government and country are one and the same you've been brainwashed.
