It may really be time, or past time, for a format similar to other board sites where there are permanent stickies or at least topic specific sections that are ongoing.
Like - General, Covid origins, Ukraine war, Q posts, Satanic symbolism etc Each section can have a couple megathreads that someone updates with all up to date info.
The format now rolls over every day and great information keeps getting buried - so many newer people not reading every post every day miss things, but also has people posting the same topics 20 times over, sometimes for days on end(and the constant 'Daily reminder the election was stolen or so-and-so is a jerk etc). Or people expressing surprise and arguing over things that were already exhaustively researched months earlier.
Even if megathreads can get a bit clunky - having all the info on a topic in one thread gives everyone a place to look and send to people to catch up to speed. Right now it seems there are more and more people that are missing a lot of vital information that was posted long ago.

This^ It (info) turns over so fast nothing can maintain it's position to be seen for long at all
Indeed.
It worked better with a smaller community when people ready it all day every day.
But there are lots of newer people I think, and trying to find 6 month old info, or even week old info if not intuitive.
If one big goal is to help normies access information, it needs to be easier to access than the format is now.
OP, we have tried this, and so many other things. Like, the search has been down lately. This is more of a deep(er) research hub, now.
I once was blocked from posting a link because it was already posted. that's a great feature, I thought, but it must have been on another board. would help cull at least the duplicate links.
Sorry for that. We try so hard to keep the board clean but it's not really possible
you do great. thought it was possibly an automated function.
guess I should learn to code...
As I recall, it was VOAT that prevented duplication of links. Great feature.
Ah yes. I miss Voat.
There needs to be a starter sticky. When I direct a person here that is on the precipice of taking the redpill communion, the format is one of information overload. The introsuction needs to be gradual and easy to digest. The average normie views a lot if what we see here and it's like trying to read Klingon and learn Morse code at the same time.
Yeah it is geared towards people that have been here a long time amd have read most things already.
You can search things sure, but if you dont know what you should be searching for it will be overwhelming.
And search doesn't work
I feel differently because I’ve thought of this, a year and a half ago. But honestly, I come here for no shit up to the minute actual news. I think doing your suggestion would make this place feel huge and overwhelming to newer people. The great thing is that if you are interested in something that you can’t find, make a post and someone will likely point you to a link that will find your answer.
Now what might be good is to provide links to non-organic (to gaw) sites that are used to keep info sorted. Much like the ability to click on the Q archive here and be taken to an archive of all q posts. I just fear that if you have a separate sub-gaw for a topic and are constantly feeding posts into it, it becomes UN searchable.
