She asks why and I said “what would be the purpose of covering the identifying marks on such a device? They are clearly lying” and she tossed her hands up in frustration (at me) saying “I don’t know”.
Made me think, so many people have the truth right in front of them, but they don’t want to see it. In her case showing and showing… she just refuses to accept shit for what it is.
When I watched the video of that farce,I was very surprised and alarmed as that guy trickled water on the fuse as the other guy slowly removed the fuse.
I'm no bomb disposal technician but I'm pretty sure that would be a pointless and
potentially dangerous thing to do as the water might cause a short circuit with
disastrous results.
They have to keep it comfortable so it doesn't get irritable.

It really might come in handy. I'll buy a really big hammer too! Apparently hammers and cold chisels are really useful if the fuse is hard to get out!
