Russia is a sham democracy that is built around keeping Putin in power. If you think the voting system here in the US is corrupt and full of cheating and fraud, wait until you learn about Russia's elections. It's blatant corruption and vote fraud to guarantee Putin remains in power. And legitimate opposition to Putin is killed or thrown in jail in order to keep any alternative political movements from starting to coalesce to a point someone could actually beat Putin, not that it matters much since all their voting is rigged...
People who don’t like Putin must think that he would be replaced by some sweetness-and-light kumbaya type. The guys waiting in the wings are far more aggressive and violent than Putin. Check out Zhirinovsky and Aleksandr Dugin. If they were in power we’d be longing for the days of good ol’ Vlad.
This is all verifiable. Putin has made himself a permanent seat of power. It is no secret and there's nearly two decades of proof.
I would argue though that much of what is blamed on Putin in recent years is actually the fallout from organized crime both political and private sector and also some literal crazies.
E.g. That recent outspoken Putin critic social media pushed that Putin had murdered but then 2 weeks later the police stop her boyfriend and her body was found chopped up into pieces in the car with him.
No.
What I’m saying is that Russia has a multi-party representative democracy.
You said Russia is communist. They are not.
Now, begone.

Did the people telling you covid was a thing tell you that?
