There would have to be peace to have a peacekeeping mission. Is he intentionally signaling this is almost over? Or, is he floating another proposal he knows will be shot down, just to show Poland was willing, but other countries were not?

I do t think Poland is THAT stupid to be suckered into something like this. Almost like they got suckered in by the US to use their jets and air bases, but US never delivered on the “promise” (which is goo that Poland withdrew from that scam)

TL:DR

1. Poland and Germany had a centuries' long feud.
2. Prior to WWII, Poland was infiltrated by communists.
3. During/after the global Great Depression, Poland (as well as other countries) were desperate for financial aid. Poland also wanted Danzig.
4. Poland makes a back-door deal with Britain for protection and reparation in the case of war.
5. Despite Germany's efforts to ease tensions, Poland began massacring ethnic Germans living in Poland, to egg Germany into invasion, and, subsequently, bringing Britain into the conflict.

I think Poland is going to take Belarus

IMHO Poland and other Warsaw Pact allies do not belong in NATO.

NATO is now Pandora's Box waiting for some one to open the lid and release WW III.

It's all part of the plan, just not the one we trusted. Pretty soon, you'll own nothing, and you'll be happy.
