Millennial here: even without the vaxx, the lifestyle of many of my contemporaries was already morbidly unhealthy. We're a couple generations into the indoctrination as education and the majority of the food in the grocery store being produced by labs and assembly lines for ease. Add to that the adoption of Netflix and Wine as a hobby, sedentary jobs, screwed up social interactions due to social media and hookup culture, and a culture of debt slavery (among many things).
The vaxx was just the cherry on the shit cupcake. We have a lot of work to do to change our brains and lifestyles.
Dude, I could go on for days about that! My personal favorite are those "Keto-Friendly Starbucks Drinks" that are 20 ounces of half and half and 20 pumps of sugar free syrup. Ah yes, very friendly indeed.
What do you mean "hook up culture"? So many guys in our generation are hopeless virgins who can't have a normal interaction with a woman without coming off as insecure and creepy, much less be able to smoothly pull off the complex gradual ascension of interpersonal interaction over time necessary to confidently get them panties off.
I want to feel bad for them, but it's like they're too afraid to try. They're too comfortable being complacent. By no means was I ever a "natural", but even in my teenage years i recognized that there was no way in hell I was going to stay complacent about sucking at talking to girls and that the ONLY way the get better at it and grow was to force myself to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, and experiencing failure head on over and over until my failures slowly turned into successes.
These young males in our millenial generation.... it's like theyve already accepted long ago that being a timid, beta male is something they were born into and cant change. But at the same time it's these same people who virtue signal endlessly, are triple jabbed and boosted, and are all supporting Ukraine while blindly eating up whatever the mainstream media to them to.
The shit cupcake... much akin to one of my favorite cynical sayings "If you are eating a shit sandwich it's probably because you made it". Seems like sort of a victimized lost generation that had few examples of happy, fulfilled successful people to look up to and emmulate plus sponge-like minds hypnotized by media into a highly programmable state and minds numbed. I know few millennials that are full of life and doing well. The ones who are, are goal setters with warm loving family support.
That age group has a very mortality, so an increase in excess mortality would have to be many times the 84% increase to be casually noticed, and even if published, the total numbers would not show up as a large enough to wake people up. Right now, the excess could be argued away as "it's due to the higher suicide rate and drug overdoses during covid".
Its true. 28 here and I've probably kept about 5% of my millenial "friends", after openly declaring my Conservative values and Anti government/media sentiment.

I’m 27 and I always grew up feeling like my soul was in the wrong timeline. I never felt like I could fit in with people my age. I was never interested with star idols or TV - except for things such as Modern Marvels or How It’s Made.
Based people almost never feel like they fit in no matter the generation. Unfortunately most people are superficial. It just seems to be getting more obvious as time goes on and the reigns on degeneracy are vanishing.
I'm a few decades older than you, and I've never felt I belonged to my (free love, do what you want if it feels good, rebel against everything) generation.
