McDonald's dipping sauces are pretty revolting. Tried some of their "hot mustard" and "honey mustard" and both of them were pretty shit, basically high calorie, high carb heavily sweetened mayo. Absolutely revolting.
I have had mayo sauces (Taco Bell, still my shitty cheat-food of choice to be honest) and I have had sweet sauces, and I have had spicy-sweet sauces, but their "hot mustard" was just so riddled with high fructose corn syrup there was not even the smallest hint of the "hot" part of it.
People are so addicted to liquid carbs apparently they like that shit?
Don't get me wrong I like myself some liquid carbs sometimes but the number of chemicals added to that is just..gross.
I can take just a few of those ingredients (even xanthan gum) and create a better sweet-hot sauce for dipping into than that shit.
Sorry for the rant, it's over now. Just pisses me off. From the corporation that used to have the best fries and the best fast food burgers around, but changed because "health reasons", only to try to inject all these excess empty carbs into you that don't even taste good.
The fact that McDonald's isn't even good for protein/fat/carb loading for body building anymore for a few bucks is just sad. Don't get me started on the prices. ahh.
If known health effects of a product are taken seriously, then McDonalds should not even be allowed to be in business!
Ya, but then you would bankrupt big pharma and their metabolic disorder and cancer therapies.

the hot and honey mustard hardly have any mustard in them.
