What I have learned is that there is no Left or Right. You either want to give power to the state or you don't.

The left wants to give power to the state, and the right does not. The problem is that there's only a few people in the government who have right wing beliefs. Being right wing and being in the government is comparable to a regular citizen taking a job with a company that they want to fail. Right wing people don't want to be in government, they want to be left alone. And that's why we are where we are. Sorry I rambled on there. I was more thinking out loud than responding to your comment.

I think the better terms is "Statist" vs "Non Statist".

The problem with saying Right or Left wing. Those terms can take on various meanings to various people.

Looking at it pro statist or non statist.
