I actually do like a couple of their songs, but people act like The Foo Fighters are one of the GOATs, and it's just not true. Grohl rode his Nirvana fame and legendary status right into the 2000s and nobody questions it. He should thank Kurt Cobain every moment of the day.
Even the one song I like, "The Pretender", I'd rather listen to cover versions instead of the original. Some of them are better than the original song anyway.
Cobain was contemplating taking the r name NIRVANA and starting from scratch or solo.
Don’t think Grohl and his easy melody/Nirvana rip offs would have been as powerful or relevant without the retrospect of Cobain suicide let alone standing up in comparison to whatever genious direction Cobain would have shifted the dying scene into anyways.

Yup. And what would have become of Grohl anyways?

He saw himself as a metronome w no way out.
Cobain was murdered.
