Not everyone believes that Jesus is really the son of God though. It's for sure possible that he was a charlatan or possibly even insane. Imagine if someone today claimed to be God/the son of God.
Anyway I would hope that God's rules for entry to heaven or whose side you're considered to be on don't actually hinge on what religion you choose or were born into believing.
Jesus said he was the Son of Man, though, not God. If you want to get technical we are all Children of God, he created each of us. He is a big deal because the people that hate him were told of his coming for a long time. The people he interacted with during his experience called themselves Gods and even had it written in their Law that they were Gods. (I dunno who is crazier in this picture!)
Christ also didn't establish religion but ended it for any that would listen. Religion is unnecessary and only serves as a division tactic. He moved the man made temple into the God made temple, the human heart. (though I suspect it was always there and we were just lied to FO MONEY!!!!)
I feel like you know what I mean, about how (and maybe it's my comprehension that's at fault here) basically God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are like the same entity in a way. And that it was an immaculate conception.
I also feel like things like that can be predicted and maybe that is why people talked about a savior coming.
I just try to be on the safe side because I want to go to heaven. And God said not to worship anyone else. And really it's like Jesus has surpassed God in the minds of many people. I mean the cross is everywhere from churches to the skin of believers and he even has his own catchphrase.
I understand this. Jesus has been hoisted above the Father which was not the intention. Jesus never took glory, he always gave it to the Father.
Even the prayer that Jesus gave us to use mentions the Father directly, and not Jesus. Jesus said when we ask for anything from the Father that if we ask in the Name of Christ to the Father it would be given.
This isn't the worst case scenario, I do not think. If Jesus is God in the Flesh then it isn't incorrect in most cases, however I do not think that Jesus intended that we worship "Jesus" because he was a "man" but to worship the Father above always!
It's just hard for me to totally believe anything from that long ago and based solely on writings. I'm not even sure if I believe in dinosaurs anymore but at least they have fossils (whether real or fake) of those.
Also (if you're male), what would you think if your wife/girlfriend suddenly got pregnant (not by you) and her excuse was that God impregnated her?
It's ironic how people here view watchers of CNN as dummies who cant look at other information without calling it fake news... but cant step outside dogmatic religious beliefs themselves to see new and larger perspectives without calling it anti-christ or demonic.
The whole belief (programming?) that one must accept Jesus as Lord and Savior or else be banished to purgatory or Hell is especially disturbing to me. I don't like the use of such force. It's sorta similar to "take the vax or be banished from your workplace".
Edit: I think having faith in God and trying to live the way He would want us to live (which isn't hard to figure out without religion) should be enough (hopefully haha).

Jesus Christ is The Son of God. If you don't have that much figured out I'm out of this convo.
No one said he wasn't, HOWEVER!!! He called himself Son of Man. Come on!
We know, it's called anti Christ who believe that.
