Holy Wow! I’ve never given much thought to “the Star of David” except to associate it with Israel/Jews, but you’re so right. I mean, I have given it so little thought that I kind of just made up in my mind that it was a representation of the star (guiding light) that appeared in Bethlehem when Jesus was born. Which, if I had thought about it for even longer than 2 seconds like I just did, I would have realized that duh, that can’t possibly be what it symbolizes to the Jews b/c they don’t believe in Jesus! 🤦🏼♀️🙄🤷🏼♀️😂😂 And doesn’t the Star of David have 6 points? Now that I’ve had my very late in life epiphany about what the Star of David DOESN’T symbolize to the Jews, I gotta go do some research. 😂😂
Late in replying but the Star of David used to be known as the Seal of Solomon and is likely to do with a ring Solomon had around his neck. The jews believed it mystically as a tool that could bind and control demons. Most likely given by one of his pagan wives. It's used historically by many religions and beliefs; and you can simply summarize it as a symbol used by fallen ones. Its in islam, it's in Hinduism, Shiva the "god of destruction" is in a pentagram stance. Personally when I see the star of david I see the spiritual enemy of mankind.
But Jesus came and has defeated this devil once and for all through his baptism in the Jordan and his crucifixion. Although there are many fallen people in this world all people have had their sin taken away when Jesus was baptized by John the baptist in the Jordan, a descendant of Aaron by both parents, and was perfectly eligible to do such an event in the Jordan. And Jesus carried the worlds since to his crucifixion where he died and resurrected, blotting out our sin forever. So it's up to people who have been awakened to let others know this good news. 1 John 5:6

It represents Venus which is mistaken as a star and was named Lucifer, light bringer.
Probably dumb question, but how do we “know” it was named Lucifer?
It comes from the Latin name
