Anyone else saw the moon setting in the East on the morning of the 28th?

My lesbian dance theory professor says the moon is racist and we should not look at it.
100% Not possible. The moon rises 50 minutes later per day. It's math and physics that there are times where the moon and sun are very close to each other as they rise.
The moon, absolutely, can not set in the east. There are days where the moon is right over head, but you can't see it because of the sun and it's in Earth's shadow.
Yeah. I know. Just wondering if anyone else other than this Reddit dude saw the impossible too.
Those who follow the moon cycles know that right now is the end of a lunar month (new moon expected 4/1). At this time the moon rises in the east just before the sun. Note OP doesn't speak of seeing the moon go below the horizon, only of seeing the moon in the east early in the morning; if it had been tracked the motion would have been upward. This happens every month. After the sun rises the moon is so close as to be invisible. A few days earlier in the cycle the moon is visible during the day in the morning.
We don't need to be an echo chamber of reports of things that feel wrong without testing them against cultural experience. I'll be happy to check the moon and stars tonight and report back if anything is amiss.
Thanks
Thanks for sharing this information. Do you have any info on the Big Dipper—last night it was upside down. I don’t know enough about stars to know if this happens or not, so if you can share anything you know about this phenomenon, that would help. I’m going to look at it tonight and see if it’s back to normal or not.
I still don’t understand last week when there was only about 50 stars visible in our clear night sky when I usually can see the Milky Way…
The Big Dipper rotates around the North Star and in America is generally visible year around. Tonight it is one degree away from where it was last night. This is why the natives described it as swinging by its tail.
Visibility of stars relates to light pollution, so the first thing to check is whether viewing location lighting differs. Because subtle changes can make a big visible difference, this too is not something to be concerned about.
The moon should be visible setting in the west tomorrow night or the next night for most viewers.
Saw it myself,Texas panhandle
Yea I’m in the panhandle & can’t remember exactly, but driving to work the other day it kinda seemed like the sun was on the wrong side in the morning. That what you saw too? Seemed like it was rising from the west
No sir,had no sun starting yet, about 0630.But it was right in line between Dumas and Pampa, from Dumas.
I was so taken aback,I did look to the west.
And to this day you still haven't seen the curve?
How come two 24-mile-long bridges that never intersect appear to intersect then? ...another personal observation of mine.

⬇️Oh! You got me last with your answer; therefore you win and I lose. Such a simple life, huh?
Have you seen the curve? Baby steps
earth's shadow....just too damn funny.
Flashlight + basketball + baseball + ping pong ball figure it out
I know, it's so simple! it's just too funny.
Why does the moon's surface get dark when a lunar eclipse happens?
...
Simple is as simple does. Nothing to find here.
I don't know, but you have to admit, it's pretty funny.
Anyway, I’m going to sleep now—12:12AM H.S.T. The night sky has been different lately. Moon in wrong place one morning, constellations upside down tonight, and less than 50 stars in the sky here when you can normally see the Milky Way last week.
Has anyone else noticed significant changes to the night sky? My spouse has seen these things too and two friends who live on different sides of the island. I’m not looking for confirmation of what I have witnessed, I’m just wondering what the GAW community has noticed regarding to changes in the night sky (or the daytime sky). Im curious to read your responses when I wake up tomorrow.
Also curious to see what the shills say. Good night! 🌙
I have noticed the moons "face" is gone in my location. Massachusetts/new England area.......On the full Moon as a kid I remember I could see the face with so so much detail. Now I can not even zoomed in with a smart phone. Also the Moons "Energy" feels fucked up. In my opinion the "Moon" is indeed a "Satellite" but not a natural one. Just my opinion.
Not to mention i've seen the moon wildly shifting between well north of zenith and about 60 degrees south. sometimes I see one extreme one day and the other the next.
Kids please stay away from drugs.
Just because it is low in the sky, doesn’t mean it is setting. Always in the west, and to answer a redditor question, same in Australia.
Well, I saw it in the east on the morning of the 28th. So did the Reddit OP. Just wondering if anyone else saw it too. The night sky has been interesting lately.
Not doubting you saw it there, but it was rising, not setting. Really don’t want to argue this point when after some digging I actually believe in a flat earth, which is pretty deep down this rabbit hole. : )
You believe in Flat Earth?
You don't?
No, because that would be insane.
The number of people that would have to be in on it would be impossible.
I'm not even going to argue, it is just silly and is used an example to ridicule actual conspiracies.
Check out a smart bloke by the name of Eric Dubay. He is very convincing.
nothing like seeing a downvote on a question lol
Same in the Texas panhandle, south east, crescent.
Just curious—did anyone else see it too? I noticed at 5:30AM on the 28th that the moon was setting by the rising sun in the East. I live in Hawaii. I took a picture with my cellphone and it was poor quality, and I decided to do an online search and found this Reddit post. Here’s the link to that post https://www.reddit.com/r/moon/comments/tqevoh/why_was_the_moon_setting_in_the_east/
Right now, at 6:47 PST, 3/30/2022, Celestron Sky Portal shows the moon just to the right of the sun and just below Jupiter. Almost directly east.
How about that bright white daytime sun?
I cant believe not one person has brought up Niburu in this thread. Till now. 😁
It's not time yet for Niburu to reappear. Very many years away. If it indeed happens.
Niburu doesn't exist, folks sorry. You guys even know where Niburu comes from? It's not from the Mayan, it's not from the Aztecs, and it's not from the Mesopotamians.
Niburu, actually comes from some whacked out "physic" from the 70's who claimed she had a dream where the "annunaki" came to her and told her where they are from. The Hopi and the Mesopotamians NEVER said WHERE the "annunaki" came from - just that they came from the sky.
The Mayan calendar is based on Venus - the brightest, non star in the sky. Venus's closest to earth cycle is around 550 days - the exact cycle the Mayans based their calendar on. Since the Mayans, folks, we've added days, and months to the Calendar.
Mayan Calendar actually ended in May of 2003.
Hmmmm. We had a bad storm come through and the sun was behind a cloud so I could look right at it. I had to look twice because the moon was right next to it. First glance I thought the sun was oddly dull. All of the nurses came to the window to see it.
The Earth's Axis has tilted approximately 1 degree! Will make a big difference in Climate matters! The Bible points out Climate change, but not from carbon emissions! It's Biblical!
Stop! You sound like a libtard spewing CNN talking points.
Show me the curve
ITs just a light anyway which is always at the same location all the time anytime....come on now.
I think you may live under a moon shaped streetlight. ( I did detect some humour there )
Can anyone else check out the Big Dipper right now…
yeah, Mike is dipping inn-n-out of Barry rn
Lol. Top comment right there!
