My wife loves DW, and goes frequently by herself. I tell her all about the pedo and fringe stuff, but she says none of that is apparent in the parks. It's as if the parks are completely insulated from the movie side of the business.
I'd have to say, based upon how expensive the parks are, that they are more profitable than the movie side.
No...my wife works very, very hard, and this is a place she enjoys, especially the many food offerings at Epcot, and Star Wars attractions. Anything that puts a smile on my wife's face and allows her to forget things that may trouble her is worthwhile, and I fully support her. I don't accompany her because there's nothing there for me to eat, I can't stand for long periods of time, and it just doesn't interest me personally.

It doesn't strike you as strange that a grown woman makes frequent trips to Disney World by herself?
