We can't rule out that Hunter did it in a surreptitious effort to bring the whole house of cards down around him. If he's truly penitent for what he's done, then this might've been a way out to him.

I realize Matt Gaetz prolly ain't gonna get arrested for possession of child porn. There are probably built-in checks and balances because of whatever committees they are on, but you just can't pass this fucking shit around like candy, right?
On the other hand, theoretically, it could be freely available, the entire image, if you know where to look, or not, I wouldn't know either way.
