So that interview confirms some things. It was the husbands of the wives cooking food outside. If you just watched your wife and unborn child get blown up would you really still be cooking?

Considering some of the husbands were carrying on, it suggests the explosions were targeted directly at certain parts of the hospital. So they blew up specific parts of the hospital that pregant women inside and then had AP on stand by ready to film them leaving the building.

As far as the cooking husbands were concerned, it could have been two quick sound effects at a distance. They would have had no warning. There would be surprise, but no evident effects. Why run away?
