Normally I find things related to entertainment—especially when their releases coincide with major Trump/military news—as an “under the radar” communication with other black hats. They usually parody things they are afraid of/that are threats, like the Space Force.

I seem to remember the media and the left openly mocking Space Force as soon as it was announced, and I guess I just assumed the show's creators saw an opportunity for laughs.

I used to think that, but there’s always an angle.

Parks and Rec and Madam Secretary actively attempting to sway public opinion toward supporting a Hilary-esque character was my first realization that everything on TV these days serves a very, very specific purpose.
