Russia now less communist that America? Apparently so:
In 2010, Putin made the Gulag Archipelago, the greatest classic of anti-communist literature, required reading for all Russian high school students
Excerpt:
"On the first anniversary of Solzhenitsyn’s death, Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to Solzhenitsyn’s widow in which he described Solzhenitsyn as “a global individual, whose creative and ideological heritage will always hold a special place in the history of Russian literature and in the chronicles of our country”.[ix]
In October 2010, it was announced that The Gulag Archipelago would become required reading for all Russian high school students. In a meeting with Solzhenitsyn’s widow, Putin described The Gulag Archipelago as “essential reading”: “”Without the knowledge of that book, we would lack a full understanding of our country and it would be difficult for us to think about the future.”
What more need be said? In Vladimir Putin’s Russia, the greatest classic of anti-communist literature is now compulsory reading in all the high schools of the nation. If the same could be said of the high schools of the United States, we would not have the endemic historical and political ignorance that has led to the widespread sympathy for communism among young Americans. In the light of this, and in the light of Putin’s evident admiration for Solzhenitsyn, let’s not try to pretend that Russia is a communist nation. We don’t need to like Vladimir Putin. We don’t need to admire him. But we do need to acknowledge that Russia has moved on from the evils of socialism, even as we are in danger of embracing those very same evils."
The Gulag Archipelago is Solzhenitsyn’s attempt to compile a literary-historical record of the vast system of prisons and labor camps that came into being shortly after the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia in 1917 and that underwent an enormous expansion during the rule of Stalin from 1924 to 1953. Various sections of the three volumes describe the arrest, interrogation, conviction, transportation, and imprisonment of the Gulag’s victims by Soviet authorities over four decades.
u/Bill_Cooper no, you're a stealth account, who thinks they are clever, but are simply tarnishing Bill Coopers good name. No one thinks Putin is a saint or "Good Guy", as I have said more than a couple of times, Putin is not to be trusted, nor are the Russians. Putin stated that fall of the USSR was the worst thing to happen in the 20th century.
So just take your concern troll words and piss off back to Reddit
Stealth accounts like yours always post a bajillion times in a thread they create(34 alone in this thread), always challenging every post that disagrees with them, it's one of the telltale markers amongst many. I agree with the real Bill Cooper, I've mentioned him plenty of times on this board prior to our being blessed by your corrective words of wisdom. I for one don't believe you believe a word you are saying. Saying No one thinks Putin is a saint or "Good Guy" is a figure of speech, or are you unfamiliar with that concept. My guess is that you are either a foreigner or have a shitty command of grammar based on the lack of proper capitalization and sentence structure, taken as whole.
Also please refrain from saying God Bless, you come across as insincere as
the panhandlers standing on the corner with cardboard sign written with a sharpie marker. You do not mean it, and you think you are being cheeky or simply trying to mock real believers by teaching them a lesson from their own book of the spaghetti monster. So take your fake concern, your Dunning-Kreuger misguided confidence, lack of intellect and ply them elsewhere.
The fact is we know this is a movie. God always wins, and while we don’t know Putin’s innermost thoughts, we know that he is part of God’s plan to destroy the cabal.
I'm laughing and crying at once because of the fools in this thread. You're right and they don't seem ready to think in the balanced and comprehensive way you are. Thanks for posting. We need ideas that challenge us and your critics have nothing to say other than "gO tO tHe dOnALd tHaT's mOrE yOuR sPeEd".
It seems to me that Putin is actually repenting but he also has a lot of baggage and has proven to be a pretty awful guy. No one is good but God. Trust in the Lord alone, that's my plan and I'm sticking to it.
The psyop is Ukraine good, Russia very bad.
Sounds like you are part of it.

Fascinating. Had no idea.
I am biased against evil.
If I suspend that bias, then there are no good or bad guys.
