You're being lied to everywhere.

The notion that Russia is going to clean up corruption anywhere is comical. The entire nation is controlled by a small circle of billionaires who built their wealth in the 90s in the aftermath of the USSR's collapse.

Putin alone went from a ruthless, murdering, KGB agent who constantly laments the fall of communism to massive billionaire... and this is the guy we are supposed to think is a white hat.
