I had a really bad episode of sleep paralysis last night and it felt demonic in nature. It happens to me once or twice every year it seems. As darkness starts to settle in for the night, I’m getting scared to go to sleep in a little while. If you’re reading this can you pray for me? Thank you

You are very welcome. One other thing: The suggestion in one of the comments regarding sleeping on your side, rather than on your back, has validity and is something I also heard from my spiritual mentor - someone well-informed on how the demonic operates. He also advised not letting your feet dangle off the bed, and to keep them under the covers. This may sound childish to those unfamiliar with the spirit realm, but my experience tells me otherwise.
Yeah I could never let my feet dangle off the bed- I guess it goes back to being a kid and feeling like something would come up and grab them. Maybe that was natural instincts or something? Can you explain why sleeping on the side is better? I’m interested
I was the same as a kid! I think as children, we just “know”. (Not a kid anymore, but still don’t let my feet dangle off the bed!)
It’s not so much about sleeping on your side, as it is about not sleeping on your back….something having to do with the solar plexus being open and vulnerable when on one’s back, making it easier for the demonic to take hold.
Kids "know" because children can somehow sense these spiritual realm things easier than adults. It has something to do with kids being so new to the physical world they're not yet so attached to it like we are. As they age they lose, essentially, their "6th sense" which is also why imagination lessens as we age. Remember how wild your imagination was as a kid? I do. It was crazy the things I would imagine or daydream about, the creativity I had.
All very true.
Agree
The 'education' system I grew up in during the 50s and early 60s squashed a LOT of that natural openness and curiosity (it killed the cat, you know). I resisted by being an underachiever.
That’s so interesting. Thank you!
God bless you.
Interesting. Makes me think of hospitals insisting “back is best” for newborns.
Some think that SIDS is actually a demonic attack on the baby. Medical science has yet to explain why it happens. For this reason alone, it’s a good idea to keep the baby in the same room with its parents well beyond infancy.
I still keep my extremities within the border of the bed. I'm fairly tall and even when sleeping in small beds or couches I go fetal position if I have to.
Right! Me too
Yes! I was going to suggest that too, not to fall asleep on your back!
