The EPA is rolling out a list of new contaminates that previously had not been tested or treated for. PFAS and others. You have been drinking it your entire life, so don’t let fear mongering media get you. The epa just now figured out how much is “allowable” and forcing local water authorities to comply with treatments for clean up.
In case you are worried about your water supply, reverse osmosis systems are proven to effectively remove about 99% of contaminants including radium and uranium in water.
Ehh I still wouldn't try it personally. I know someone who mined uranium in his youth and he developed lung and throat cancer in old age. He was never a smoker. I don't know if the uranium was solely to blame, but I bet it didn't do him any favors either.
Maybe it’s because my degree is in nuclear medicine so I’m a nerd when it comes to this stuff and probably “know too much”, but after reading story after story after story of people that worked at Rocky Flats or grew up downwind of it and all the cancers and autoimmune disease these people developed, I wouldn’t take my chances w/ uranium. Just saying. 🤷🏼♀️😬
The study was done by Colombia University using the EPA's data collected from 2000-2011, which is incomplete. My questions are: what were the levels prior to these years? Has the drinking supply always been this tainted? Why is it so bad? And why are we just finding out about it now? The article creates more questions than answers.
By design maybe to add Uranium to the list of emerging contaminants. The max allowable level for uranium in water is 30mg/L. So how far over that are these spots. Furthermore if uranium got out in the water supply thats on OSHA and the Dept of Energy. They have rules against uranium discharge.

Watch the water.......
It's literally the ((( who poison's the village water well.
Also reminds me of Lynn de Rothschild's threat to Q: "You die of thirst after watching your children die first."

Uranium is NOT in the drinking water in East Houston. Our supply is lake water from Lake Houston and Lake Conroe.
There is a saying in Houston. When Lake Conroe flushes their toilets, the drinking water pressure increases in East Houston.
Name checks out.
Galen Winsor ate uranium in front of an audience for several years to try to prove it's not as dangerous as advertised, fascinating story.

Why is at least 1/3 of the map, “not applicable”. How can this headline make this claim when only a few hotspots are found?
