I have a friend over there doing humanitarian stuff (he doesn't have a clue about the stuff we talk about here) but from what he's saying it seems the russians aren't exactly white knights in shining armor. There are plenty of innocent civilian casualties, he's been digging them out of buildings etc.
Personally I'm kind of at the place where I want the nazis gone, but I'm no russian fanboy either.
Me either, but militarily, Russia is the US's only peer. They could have wiped every building from the face of the earth if that was their intention.
