Why the hell does Zelensky have the time to do interviews on 60 Minutes, speak at The Grammys, and overall enjoy his time in the media spotlight?
A nation truly under siege would not afford its leader such luxuries.

Isn’t Mariupol part of the DPR though? And haven’t they been at war with the rest of the Ukraine for something like 8 years now?

Stay tuned. Mariupol had been held in thrall by the Azov battalion during the siege. They now have been compressed into the Azovstal facility and Russia is providing humanitarian aid to the residents, who gratefully receive it. The Azovites had dynamited two of the bridges leading into the city to prevent the inhabitants from evacuating. It was a fortification for the Azov battalion, but a prison for everyone else. The Azovites were also moving from one civilian building to another, using human shields. In doing so, they were the ones committing war crimes, not the Russians. The Russians were firing at legitimate targets.
Yeah, I've been following the story by watching Patrick Lancaster on YouTube. Really good reporting, that guy. Worth a follow if you haven't already.
