He isn't "Against AI". You would think, if you were going to be someones critic, you would listen to them speak - Musk talks about AI a lot. Musk understands that AI is dangerous - he understands that in the wrong hands, it can be used for evil. Newsflash - everything in the wrong hands can be used for evil. Musk is involved in the development of AI specifically because he fears it - and he is smart enough to know that AI is inevitable. If you fear something that is inevitable, you involve yourself in it to have some sort of control/influence.
Same thing with neuralink. He is doing it because it is inevitable (neuralink terrifies me, and it terrifies Musk). He speaks a lot about this too - his main goal with neuralink is to treat mental disorders. And it makes a lot of sense. Can you imagine if we can actually cure/prevent/treat dementia or alzheimers? He clearly is intelligent, and he clearly is capable of coming up with the ideas, since he is executing them well, and can go into great detail when talking about them. You claim they are not his ideas, with no proof except for his family ties (outside of anyones control who that is) and his wives (which he has divorced, has he not? all of them)
