When I was in High School, I was a football player and was on the weight lifting team. We had two females try out for the football team. One tried out as a place kicker, the other as a Defensive End. Neither one lasted more than 2 days after we were cleared for full contact practice with pads.
We also had one girl try out for the weight lifting team. She spent two years on the team and never completed because there weren't any other schools in our conference that had girls on their lifting squads. She was super strong...for a girl...but our weakest male was still damn near twice as strong as she was at her strongest. The only year she was able to compete was our Senior Year because we had other schools that finally had some female lifters. She crushed them all and went on to win a State Title...for GIRLS Weight Lifting. Our school was a literal power house in weight lifting. She set records for FL, too...for GIRLS.
After a boy finishes puberty, whatever testosterone he developed during puberty IS PERMAMNENT. Can't be reversed. All that can be done after is to limit future test production, and even that is severely limited.
In NO VERSION OF THIS WORLD is it moral or ethical for a male to compete in contact sports against women. The worst college Basketball team in this country could beat the tank tops off the current WNBA Champions, so what is making people think it's ok for "trans" females to compete against women, ESPECIALLY in one of the most brutal contact sports there is, like Rugby?
I was a fairly dedicated power lifter for a couple years. I was strong but nothing special - state competitive but not nationally competitive. My best lift (my squat) would have been a world record had I been a woman, but as a man I was third best in my state.
Trans athletes should not be competing with women.
Testosterone naturally goes down as men age.
And my husband can still open jars when I can't.
Yeah... I doubt that information is relevent considering older men probably aren't competing in woman's sports
Forget college level. A middle school boy's soccer team beat a professional level women's team. Badly.
