Oh yes they did! They f*cking killed Bambi’s mother!? Like five minutes in the movie! Although over half a century ago, I remember it vividly, I was there with my grandmother in the theater. I cried my eyes out…..bastards!
and 'where the red fern grows' was another one. lots of sad stories about animals. doesn't make any sense that it's considered entertaining/don't know what purpose it serves.
like some of them don't have feelings unless it's tragic, reminds me of a couple of people I know.
Totally relate, though I've never seen Bambi. I think my generation's version of that was Artex dying in The Neverending Story (not Disney but DAMN that shit was sad).

yes it really does seem like they like to torture us; to get us all worked up.
gathering loosh I suppose.
What about “The Yearling”? Hard watch.
How about Old Yeller? Bawled my eyes out, and was scared to death our dog was going to get rabies. :-(
Bingo. Dang Disney.

Ya know, that IS interesting. Mass sorrow the vampire-satanists probably feed-on. Weird.

BECAUSE of killing Bambi's mother, I can't watch that movie or Dumbo! EVER...NEVER!
