TLDR: I need advice for a conspiracy newsletter I'm making. See last few paragraphs for specifics. Other advice welcome.
I'm starting a hella bootleg newsletter thing about basically things that most people don't know are happening and/or don't believe are happening because they saw a snopes article or something and called it a day, etc. Conspiracy theory stuff.
I'll be putting the issues into envelopes and leaving them under people's windshield wipers, as well as mailing a bunch out to completely random addresses. And then somewhere in the newsletter I'll leave an email for anyone who wants to be part of the permanent mailing list. I think this will be better than a website because it's more proactive and getting something like this in the mail or on your car isn't something that happens normally. If I received this in the mail one day, I'd think it was cool as fuck.
Here is what I would like your opinions on (and any other advice you may have is welcome and would be appreciated too):
How deep should I go on the first issue? I definitely want it to have shit that captures people's attention, but at the same time I don't want to immediately come across as insane on the very 1st issue. Or any issue really, since each issue after this will be the 1st issue for many people, due to the random nature that I'll be sending these out.
But I'm thinking of eventually getting into more and more darker shit as time goes on, and I'll just preface it by saying like "Hey I'm not saying this is definitely true, but it's worth investigating on the chance that it is true and here's the information we have to work with." That's good, right?
Is it legal to leave shit under people's windshield wipers?
How should I put these together? I'll be using letter sized newsprint paper. I don't want it to just be several loose pages. Stapling seems extra jankey. Is there another way that's better?
Thank you for your time reading all of this. Hoping for responses because I really want to do this right.
Well, good luck. I agree that the first contact should be lighter, more of an investigatory thing, asking questions. When I think about broaching the subject of how / why conspiracies start and how to know if there is anything to them, I always think of Sharyl Attkisson's Ted Talk on astroturfing. It's less than 11 minutes long on normal speed and is so full of good, credible information on how things are made to 'appear' one way but are actually carefully planned and manipulated. Here is the video if you'd care to watch it. If I was approaching a complete normie, someone who really has no clue, I would start with this. Because imo, it plants the seeds that grow and help them see the fruit.

Also, if you're going to leave your newsletter on random cars and mailed to random addresses, then how will you know you are graduating up to tougher stuff? Unless you keep mailing to those same addresses? You could wind up sending the really 'out there' stuff to people who never saw the earlier things and truly aren't ready for the darker stuff. I'd make a plan for how to disseminate the info, if I were you. I don't know if it's legal to put flyers on cars, but I know people still do it. You could probably ask your local police dept. Good luck and let us know how it goes. I'd really like to hear a follow up after you get going. Thanks.
Thank you for your response, and the video! I'm definitely gonna paraphrase some of what she says because its a great and easy to understand description of whats going on with the brainwashing that takes place.
I don't have that part totally figured out yet (that's what I meant by maybe feeling worried about sounding insane in every issue, to the majority of readers). One thing is, if some people actually use the contact email I'll provide to sign up to the permanent mailing list, then I'll at least be able to keep track of how many issues each address has received from that list. And maybe after the 1st issue, each issue after that could have 2 versions. A noob version and a mailing list person version.
And if I simply never get any type of substantial amount of people to email me about joining that list, I suppose eventually I would just start sounding off on all the "insane" stuff anyway and provide as much info and sources as possible while challenging the reader (in a not rude way) to take the time to really look into it.
Hard to advise on "how deep" without a topic, and examples. Like you could mention Ukraine, and have 5 "depths" for people to comment on. 1) MSM might be wrong; 2) MSM is wrong; 3) MSM is propaganda; 4) Ukraine Army are Nazis and they kill their own citizens; 5) Baby Farming and child sacrifice dungeons in underground cities; 6) US funded 3-5 & Putin's a swell fellow. Me, I'd start with a 2 - 3 punch. And I'd leave them by community colleges and universities.
Sorry, I coulda worded that better. I meant more like "which conspiracy theories should be within my limits and which ones should I avoid, at least for a time (even if they are probably true), so I don't immediately scare people off?"
I'd really like to eventually get into all of them, but for right now I need to find some middle ground where I'm able to speak on things that are attention-grabbing and scandalous but also not completely unbelievable to the average NPC. Some that I'm considering to hopefully fit this mold:
Freemasonry/Illuminati controlling the entertainment industry (all of the hand signs should be an easy way to get people started on this).
Mockingbird Media (will be easy to prove and anyway it lays the ground for literally everything else to become more believable).
Mockingbird Media sub category: the whole divide and conquer thing.
COVID-19/the vax.
Also, I'm glad you mentioned college campuses. That's a great idea, especially since I live in a big city. Thank you.
I'd also pick Dr Shiva as the collusion between government and big tech. Talking about Republican voter fraud should bring in people, and his evidence is top-notch.
Another good idea that I will use. And it gives me an idea on top of the idea...well, it'd only be cool if I were to have repeat readers but: have a specific section devoted to an ongoing flow chart of collusion and hierarchy (of all topics that link together as part of the whole NWO agenda) which grows and grows as new topics are written about. Like a classroom haha, "okay we just talked about this, now let's put it on our flow chart..."
I'd go for Mockingbird and Ukraine. Covid and the vax are tough sells because people have already been warned against outside thought. All those holistic doctors and bleach pushers, and dead HCQ people, were all branded insane early on. Good luck!
use formatting and fonts that look professional (no Comic Sans font lol).
do what you can to appear as pro & sane as possible...
good luck OP!

Thank you, I appreciate it!
