He didn't come from anywhere. He always was. I know that's a hard concept for some people to wrap their heads around, but it makes sense when you consider it.
Any God that you could wrap your head around, isn't the God of all Creation. It is beyond us to even imagine the number of stars or the breadth of the Universe. How would you even contemplate what God is or what his possible limitations are? This is where faith comes in. I have faith that there are stars out there that are so numerous that I cannot fathom the number, but I believe that there are stars out there and the number is beyond my ability to comprehend.
However, I do caution you that kent is a skillful orator (aka a good preacher) and debate is pageantry for fools (not for learning, nor for establishing what is true in reality). As long as you enjoy it for what it is, "infotainment" and proselytization - I hope you enjoy.
Kent cares nothing for facts. He does have a deep love for science, but he doesn't really understand it (he understands what is taught under its guise spectacularly, however - due to studying and criticizing textbooks). He cares about your soul!
Trying to understand God is pointless. God gave us all the answers for life within our human DNA that he created. It is instinctive and human nature to love, heal, and take care of the earth.
We have good and evil and God created us to do good and fight evil. Anything in addition to these basic tenets are distractions and designed to confuse and frustrate us.
Read the red letters in the Gospels and that’s more than enough to come to a sound conclusion that God created us, we are to be stewards of this earth, and that our actions have consequences.
