The first difference is speed the Tu-22M can reach speeds close to Mach 2, the B-52’s top speed is about 650 mph, 1,047 km/h
Next payload the B-52 can carry up to 70,000 lb (31,500 kg) of bombs or missiles. It can carry 51 mk82 bombs while the Tu-22M can carry up to 24,000 kg (53,000 lb) of bombs or missiles. The B-52 can carry a wider variety of weapons than the Tu-22m
Now range a Tu-22M has a combat radius of 2,410 km (1,500 mi; 1,300 nmi) and currently lacks an in-flight refueling probe though one could be reinstalled.
A B-52’s combat radius is 4,480 mi (3,890 nmi, 7,210 km) and they can be refueled in flight.
They also had engineers who designed jumbo jets/bombers using slide rules, and they didn't have diversity/inclusion standards and CRT. Still, commercial and military airframes can get a bit tired after 65+ years!
Noob for Russian Airforce and Russian planes.
How does a Tu-22M3 compare to say, a B-52?

You're awesome!
More importantly:
B52 Produced 1952–1962
Tu-22M Produced 1967–1993
The Americans have much older bombers.
This is true…however, old stuff many times works better than new stuff… Especially when Made in America. 😉
They also had engineers who designed jumbo jets/bombers using slide rules, and they didn't have diversity/inclusion standards and CRT. Still, commercial and military airframes can get a bit tired after 65+ years!
Ok you do know that America has new bombers....don't you?
They also weren't using thinned and weakened metal!
Not exactly precise... Americans have a variety of bombers. B52, B1, B2, and now the B21....
The bombers have different rolls....from large capacity, to stealth.
