He’s at that age where he can be open about his opinions and not be concerned with what people think.

Personally his take on space aliens controlling the minds of politicians using advanced technology seems plausible

Whenever he mentions space aliens, in my mind I replace that with demons, which do have that ability. So I see he him as coming from more of a naturalistic worldview and he tries to explain everything within that frame of reference.
