Wave energy could potentially become a huge source of energy, since waves will never stop moving, and it will not damage an anadramous waterway like hydroelectric dams.
I honestly believe that there is no battery Tech that they can develop that is gonna solve this they're gonna have to go to a water splitting system for hydrogen or some other means by which to create the energy. The stan meyer water car was real and they killed him but they have the Tech and it works but it's just very difficult to make it work. You have to constantly match the resonant frequency of the water in real time and it's very difficult to do.

Oregon state created one, but it was extremely noisy. A viable solution is just to invert a whirlpool turbine on its side.
